Tailings to thickeners ➡️
This copper mine utilizes 42” SlurryFlo control valves. Tailings produced by the mill are moved into a large distribution box, which feeds three (3) x 42” pipelines. Flow rates through each line are precisely modulated to ensure equal volumes of tailings reach all three (3) thickener tanks.
As copper tailings from the mill are abrasive, these 42” control valves incorporate SAF's best wear prevention technologies.
